About

I started my PhD in 2013 in University of Groningen, Netherlands.

During my PhD I have mainly worked on transition metal complexes (Fe, Ni, Mn, Co) and trapped the active interemdiates using advanced spectroscopic teachniques.

After my PhD, I have moved to University Grenoble, Alpes in France. I worked there on Ni-Fe Bio-mimics for H2 evolution recations.

After my first postdoc in France, I moved to UMCG Netherlands. There I have worked on nanaodiamonds which have nitrogen vacanices (NVs). These NV centers acts as tiny mganetometers. I mainly worked the surface modification of these nanodiamonds and employed them in cells for detection of ROS.

Currenlty, I am working in University College London (UCL). The  research is funded by MSCA individual fellowship. The research work is on use of boron doped diamonds for reduction of CO2 to valauble chmeicals and production of H2 at ambient conditions.

In summary, I have worked on several cutting-edge research topics in chemistry to study both fundamental aspects and to apply them to achieve efficient catalyst design, sustainable energies and also in bio-chemistry.
